MEET THE PLAYERS
To start, VBA player packs will give you seven unique NFTs of hoopers ready to launch their VBA journeys. Player positions will help you determine who to play, while performance attributes and skill sets will be hidden — for now — so that finding the perfect team composition remains a challenge for GMs.
Rarity will impact player potential and will be highlighted through unique design elements on your player card. The higher your player’s rarity, the better their base performance should be. The VBA will be made up of Legendary, Elite, Rare, Special and Underdog players. But don’t count out the Underdog or take the Legendary for granted — even the best players can’t dominate the game forever and there are always rising stars ready to take over.
SET YOUR SQUAD
Your starting lineup will consist of a point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward and center (sorry, no point forward or unicorn, yet). But, that doesn’t mean you can’t start all your bigs or go small ball, if you think that’s your key to success. Each game gives you another opportunity to find the right 5 and bring home a W.
GAME ON
In the first phase of VBA gameplay, your team will play simulated games in round-robin tournaments each week. You can watch play-by-plays of live simulations, track head-to-head contests and keep an eye on standings and stats at VBA HQ. The higher your squad rises on the leaderboard, the bigger the stakes and the better the rewards. But success doesn’t just mean more wins and more clout, it might mean more $SOL in your wallet and exclusive rewards that can unlock new ways to enhance your team.
BUILD YOUR DREAM TEAM
Taking too many Ls or not liking where your team is headed? Switch it up. Analyze your stats, pull some starters, shake things up, and make some moves. Get a deal done that will take you all the way to the top. Need more firepower or trying to find the right pieces? Acquire a player or make a trade with your biggest rival. The game is yours.
CREATE YOUR LEGACY
As the GM, the game is in your hands. Make your mark and build your legacy. Give your VBA players a name, a backstory and an identity; create your franchise and choose your colors and custom logo. This is just the beginning.
